ICT
Alive is our exciting new curriculum course for ICT.
As a subject, ICT should not be an end in itself.
It provides your school with every ICT lesson you'll
need to teach from years 1 to 6, and helps teachers
plan, prepare, assess and report on the ICT curriculum.
Based on the QCA ICT scheme of work, each study unit
contains five/six structured lessons, all of which
provide a context-setting Unit Opener, a Lesson Starter,
specific ICT Skills, Lesson Activities differentiated
to three levels and a Plenary. The whole point of
ICT is that it should be a tool integrated seamlessly
into all subject areas so that pupil’s benefit
from the learning gains that it can facilitate. ICT
Alive contains a simple, timesaving approach to assessment.
